From 28th to 29th January 2019 Grandi Langhe Doc e Docg will be back.

A unique and exclusive opportunity to taste the excellence of the wine-making in the heart of its territory

The city of Alba, home to wine and white truffles, will host the fourth edition of Grandi Langhe, an exclusive event dedicated to Italian and international industry professionals.

The new edition brings many new developments.

First of all, the dates: 28th and 29th January 2019, making Grandi Langhe the first professional event of the year in Italy.

Secondly, the duration of the event: everything takes place over two days, compared to the three days of previous editions.

Finally, the place: for centuries, viticulture has been the soul of the economy in this area, declared a UNESCO cultural heritage thanks to the hills sculpted over the centuries by the work of men and women. The entire event will be based in Alba, which is the vibrant heart of this area.

Buyers, sommeliers, wine merchants and wine professionals from all over the world are expected to visit the city to taste the best vintages from Barolo, Barbaresco, Dogliani, Roero and Diano and beyond. More than 1500 DOCG and DOC wines will be presented by more than 250 wineries.

The event is organized by the Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani and the Consorzio del Roero.

As in the previous three editions, visitors will be offered tastings of the numerous wines and types presented (especially Barolo and Barbaresco), with the presentation of new vintages and the opportunity to talk to the producers and hear their tales of vineyard work and harvests.

The wine producers, the wide range of products tasted, the area and the international and professional approach are all part of the added value of Grandi Langhe, a proven and successful format.
